A MAZE. / Berlin is an international festival focusing on arthouse games and playful media. For the day experience A MAZE. / Berlin invites globally spread and diverse experimental game and VR creators, digital artists, musicians and other playful creatives from around different countries who share in an inspiring 5-day program of talks and workshops, idea market places and knowledge bazaar the art of video games making.

Ash Baccus Clark

Ash Baccus-Clark is a Los Angeles/Berlin-based Molecular & Cellular Biologist and multidisciplinary artist who uses new media and storytelling to explore themes of deep learning, cognition, memory, race, trauma, and systems of belief. She currently consults in virtual reality production and is working on her first feature.

Bernadette Binner

Bernadette Binner is dramaturg and member of the artistic direction at the Jungen Staatstheater⁺ Kassel. She is co-founder of Digitale Dramaturgie and is interested in hybrid art and experiments, digital interfaces and exploring digital storytelling and practices with and within the performing arts.

David Cribb

David Cribb (Colestia) is an indie game developer based on Ngunnawal and Ngambri land in so-called Australia. His games always adopt a radical left-wing perspective, whether you’re playing as a communist witch who foments revolution, or a researcher uncovering the CIA’s dark history.

Ida Hartmann

Ida Hartmann is a comic artist and game writer from Denmark. In 2020 she debuted with the interactive comic, Stilstand, which won the grand prize at A MAZE. festival in 2021. She’s worked at Die Gute Fabrik, and currently, she’s the lead writer and narrative designer on studio Triple Topping’s TBA game.

Jooyoung Oh

Jooyoung Oh has developed her work under interdisciplinary backgrounds. Since 2017, her work has been selected for ART+SCIENCE COLLIDE Grand Prize(2017), ISEA (2019) juried exhibition, SIGGRAPH ASIA Art Gallery (2020). Received first place as IEEE BRAIN WINNER at Ars Electronica (2019). Exhibited at Nam June Paik Art Center, Hyundai Motor Studio (Seoul, Beijing), ZER01NE DAY as a creator.
