1. Is A MAZE. / BERLIN 2022 going to be in person?

Partly! Besides the online event from May 13-16 (see more below) A MAZE. / BERLIN 2022 will be onsite for one day only May 17th, in two locations Silent Green and Panke Culture. The onsite program will also be streamed online and includes talks, exhibition, workshops, awards show and a party. The two locations are in close proximity of each other in the Wedding area in Berlin:

2. Is A MAZE. / BERLIN 2022 going to be online?

Yes! You can join the online festival in the A MAZE. / SPACE. With a free ticket you get access to online streams and actions and with a premium (paid) ticket you get special access and abilities including a premium role, premium avatar, more fun abilities, access to all the games and the voting system for the audience award. Ability to talk in the speakspheres (areas in which you can actually talk to each other and people at the onsite event on May 17). 8. What do I get with the ticket for the live event?

You get access to the talks, exhibition, workshops (on the first come first served basis) and awards show at Silent Green and the party in Panke.

9. What is free in the online event?

Access to A MAZE. / SPACE online streams and actions. If you want to become more interactive and enjoy our fully designed festival experience get your premium ticket.

10. What do I get with the premium (paid) ticket for the online event?

The premium online ticket gives you special access and abilities in the A MAZE. / SPACE including a premium role, premium avatar, more fun abilities, access to all the games and the voting system for the audience award. Ability to talk in the speakspheres (areas in which you can actually talk to each other and people at the onsite event on May 17).

11. How can I attend workshops?

There is no registration for workshops, however, the number of places is limited and follow the first come first served rule.

12. I have a ticket from previous year (2020), do I need to get a new one?

No. With your ticket you get access to the full festival experience online and onsite this year. Please get in contact with ticketing@a-maze.net or ask in #helpdesk on discord if you are unsure about your ticket.

13. Can I attend just the party?

Yes. You can get a ticket just to the party on Eventbrite

14. Which OS is supported for the A MAZE./SPACE?

MacOS and Windows. Linux is not supported.

15. Where can I see the whole program?

16. Do Nominees get free access to the event?

Yes.

17. Do Nominees need to attend in person?

No. But online participation in the award show (you could win an award!) is mandatory. You can also send a representative (onsite or online) to accept an award in your name.

18. Where are nominated games going to be exhibited?

All nominees and honourable mentions are exhibited in the A MAZE./ SPACE. Here, people with premium tickets can play them and vote for the audience award. The onsite exhibition finally features some of the works works, which could not be experienced properly during the last 2 online events (local multiplayer, VR, installations, …).
