THIS IS NOT A GOOD SIGN is an AR poetry project by J. R. Carpenter & Tomo Kihara. In this project, we use augmented reality to overlay the user's surroundings with signage posing questions about past and present climatic conditions. Why is the sky so blue? Has it always rained? When will the leaves leave us? These signs call attention to the small absences caused by the climate change already occurring all around us, inviting playful responses. [ How to play ] 1.
