Gl0tchbl0K is a performative circuit bent glitch-gaming environment, consisting of a square controller field of 8x8 pressure sensitive , measuring 3,20 x 3,20 m in total. Think DanceDanceRevolution think Park Chessboard think WTF. This controller is accompanied by a big Projection and will be used to interconnect the 64 data lines of the graphic bus and several pins of the sound ram inside of a Playstation 2 with each other. Doing so allows one or more players to de- and reconstruct the games running on the console into an ever evolving maelstrom of vertex-shredding abstraction, glitched-out colour swashes and impossible forms, embedded into an excitingly discombobulating soundscape. subverting preconstructed narratives, both hi-res and retro fetishes and the unimaginative of violence as means of communication. I'm currently building the installation, so there's only so much to show so far. But it has to be finished in some form latest April first, because it is the main part of a show that will be opening that day. I would also like to include a streaming element for the online festival, but as of now, I am not too sure if I'll figure out a way to make it interactive by then.
